Case management training programs provide
nurses and other healthcare professionals with the skills to assess and
monitor the quality of patient care in hospitals and other medical
facilities. Online education enables healthcare professionals to expand
their career options by completing coursework outside of a traditional

Program Prerequisites
Case management program applicants typically must hold a registered
nurse (RN) or other heatlchare professional licensure as well as possess

Current and historical case management concepts and techniques,
including the role of technology and service evaluation, are analyzed in
this course.
Effective Case Management: Connecting to Health Care Systems
The focus of this class is managing customer services in settings
that include hospital and community-based practices. Financial
responsibility and insurance related issues are also addressed.
Introduction to Life Care Planning (LCP)
Collaboration strategies, effective reporting principles and medical
record review techniques are a central focus of this course of study.
