Internet requirements can vary; classes that include online chat sessions and file sharing may require a high-speed connection. Other requirements may include a webcam and microphone if the class utilizes videoconferencing. Students typically correspond with classmates and professors through e-mail and online message boards. Course homework can include readings, evaluations, exams, discussion group participation and papers.
