Safety supervisor courses are available fully online as part of certificate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs. These courses are aimed at individuals with related work experience and a desire for job advancement or improvement. There are also continuing education (CE) refresher online courses geared toward professionals wishing to maintain certification and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

Overview of Online Safety Supervisor Courses

Safety supervisors interpret, manage and maintain safety issues for compliance with OSHA standards at construction sites or in general industry businesses. Safety supervisors usually require a minimum of a bachelor's degree for employment. Though voluntary, certifications are available by organizations like the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and typically have both an education and experience requirement.
